BMO cuts CenterPoint Energy price target to $45 from $48, maintains Outperform

On Oct. 19, BMO analyst James Thalacker cut the target to $45 from $48 and kept Outperform. BMO expects Q3 2026 EPS of $0.49 ahead of the Oct. 27 report; it cited valuation and said CNP had declined 7–8% relative to peers this summer amid regulatory and political risks in Indiana and Texas.
