Exelon utilities call for coordinated action to add electricity supply

On Oct. 14, Exelon subsidiaries BGE, Delmarva Power and Pepco said the PJM region needs coordinated action to bring more dependable supply online after PJM extended grid alerts through Oct. 14. The companies said it was at least the fourth alert event of 2026, following alerts in May, July and September.
