U.S. technology company orders about 1.1 GW of power and cooling

On Oct. 27, 2026, Baker Hughes announced a major U.S. technology company order for about 1.1 GW of power generation: 34 Frame 5 turbines, nine NovaLT16 turbines, generators and gears. The order also includes Chart dry coolers. Power equipment was booked in Q3 2026; dry coolers in Q4 2026. Customer and contract value were not disclosed.
