June US Inflation Data Comes in Below Expectations
June CPI rose 3.5% year-over-year, below the estimated 3.8%. Core CPI increased 2.6% annually, lower than the 2.9% forecast.
Why it matters: Monthly CPI fell 0.4%, while core CPI was flat, both missing estimates.
